Obtaining your Virtual National Identification Number (VNIN) is now more convenient than ever. Follow these simple steps to generate your VNIN:
Option 1: Via NIMC Mobile App
1. Download the NIMC App: Head to the App Store or Play Store and download the NIMC mobile app.
2. Log In: Use your existing National Identification Number (NIN) and create a Personal Identification Number (PIN) if you’re a first-time user.
3. Get Virtual NIN: Inside the app, click on the tab labeled "Get Virtual NIN."
4. Select Your Network Provider: Choose your network provider, such as MTN, from the options provided.
5. Generate VNIN: Your VNIN will be displayed. You can either scan the barcode or select the copy VNIN option for your records.
Option 2: Via USSD
1. Dial *346#: Using your phone, dial *346# to access the USSD menu.
2. Select Option 3: Input '3' and press send to generate your Virtual NIN.
3. Input Your 11-digit NIN: Enter your 11-digit NIN and press send.
4. Enter Enterprise ID: When prompted, enter MTN’s Enterprise ID: 109071 or 547789
for glo.
5. Receive VNIN: Your VNIN will be displayed, and you will also receive it as a text message for your reference.
